Why choose Rinnai gas ducted heating?

If you own an older house, gas heating is a quick and efficient way to heat it.

What makes Rinnai gas ducted heating the best?

Rinnai, New Zealand’s leading gas appliance manufacturer and supplier, has purchased Brivis, who were Australasia’s foremost gas ducted heating supplier. The two companies combined make for a superior product, backed by an excellent parts and service network. Gas Appliance Specialists are Auckland’s approved and trained service centre. We carry spares and specialise in all Rinnai products.

Who are Gas Appliance Specialists?

Gas Appliance Specialists are the Rinnai Experts. We install, service and repair ONLY Rinnai and Brivis appliances so we know what we are doing. We carry spare parts and are fully trained and authorised by Rinnai to carry out all aspects of work on their products. We have access to all that factory knowledge.

Is gas running out?

The Climate Change Commission has not proposed a ban on new gas connections from 2025 but instead recommend the government sets a date, once a national energy strategy is developed and there is more clarity around the contribution future gases can make in decarbonising New Zealand’s energy supply. You can also be confident that you can use any natural gas or LPG appliances in your home for their expected lifetime. Modern gas appliances are already able to run on a blend of natural gas and renewable hydrogen gas (up to 20%) or biogas. New compatible appliances will become widely available as we scale up towards a more renewable gas energy future. Rinnai is at the forefront of this exciting future.

Gas energy is here to stay, but it will be changing. What isn’t changing is the value and benefits you get living in a home energised by gas.

What if I already have another brand of gas ducted heating that needs a replacement? Can I change brands and why should I choose Rinnai?

Rinnai’s ducted heating systems can be adapted to work on any manufacturers’ ducting systems and by choosing Rinnai you can be assured of many years of service, reliability, and parts availability to come.

I like gas ducted heating, but it gets so hot in the summer. What are my options?

Rinnai’s modern ducted heating models are compatible with their add-on ICE systems. There are three to choose from depending on your ducted heating system size, these are 10kW, 13kW and 15kW. Give us a call to arrange a free quote.

Should I replace my gas ducted heating with a ducted heat pump?

We can help whichever way you choose to go. Gas Appliance Specialists are fully licensed and trained. We can provide you with a Rinnai ducted heat pump solution for your house. If you’re not sure, we can help advise on which solution may be best for your property.

I have an existing ducted heating system, and get it serviced, but how do I get the dust and debris out of those long ducting tubes?
