We are on the search for our next gasfitter to join our West Auckland-based team. This position is open to qualified gasfitters and any keen 4th year apprentices. The business is growing and we are needing more hands on deck to continue servicing our valued customers 💪

Gas Appliance Specialists (2005) Limited are Auckland’s leading authorised Rinnai and Brivis service centre. We specialise in the installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of Rinnai and Brivis gas appliances including full ducted gas systems and ducted heat pumps. Located in Kelston, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional services to thousands of Auckland-wide customers, both residential and commercial.

 

Qualifications & experience

  • PGDB NZ Practicing License (must include Tradesman or Certifying Gasfitter)
  • Full clean NZ Driver’s Licence
  • Current Site Safety card (or similar)
  • Preferably with some experience in fault finding and servicing gas appliances
  • Experience with the Rinnai and Brivis product range very favourable
  • Associated Trade electrical license (or similar) also favourable

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Servicing and maintaining Rinnai and Brivis gas appliances
  • Fault-finding and Repairing
  • Testing and Commissioning | Decommissioning and Selling new appliances
  • Replacements (e.g. Brivis heaters, Rinnai INFINITY water heaters, Rinnai Energysavers)
  • New Installations (e.g. Rinnai ducted heating and/or cooling systems, Rinnai ducted heat pumps)
